Do the following:

- Right-click on the lower panel and select "Add to panel..."
- Choose the "Window List" and click "Add" (I am not sure if "Window List" is the right term in English)

You should now have the windows on the panel. You can also move this list around on the panel as you like it.

Henning's suggestion is what it sounds like you need to do... it sounds as though the Window List was inadvertently removed from the bottom panel.

It is "Window List". And Randy, this has got to be it, as simple as it may sound.

Ah but all that matters is that the person got his question answered... not who gets Karma.

Sorry Henning, not my intention to grab your well deserved reward.

If anything, does this https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+question/41160 appease you a bit?

+1 for Void's attitude.

A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed. --Archbishop Desmond Tutu
