how to close picutre preview when uploading

Hi, I want close picture preview function when uploading picture files.

The folder I stored picture files have at least 2000 picture files,
   the picture preview function makes me wait for a long time and cannot do anything when uploading files to my database.

anyone help? thanks!

Open a Nautilus window. Goto Edit->Preferences and then Preview tab. There, set Never for Picture files.
