problem with google notebook

Firefox 3.05b under ubuntu 8.05

when Google Notebook opens, it opens a new Firefox window pointed to the same blank google notebook page. It won't clip, even when the browser is pointed at a new page with content.

notebook always opens to the same blank page

Google notebook should leave the page in the browser when it is opened.

Possibly a Java issue. Are you using sun-java or open-java? The open-java still has some trouble with a couple online applications. You might want to give sun-java a try.
