Problem: Youtube video screen - Shockwave flash - White screen. Firefox.

Asked by Vahaber3

Yes I use Firefox on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition.

When ever I try to watch a video, most of the time, where the black video screen is supposed to be seen, is not seen. It is a large white/light grey square. I refresh lots of times because that is what used to cure the glitch, but not anymore. I want it to stop permanently, and I can't as of yet figure out how to do so. I CAN use Opera.. but even if I use that, it's a slow load up time, and you can't click the suggested video icons after you have finished the video.

There are three different plugin for Flash in Firefox.
Check which one you use, and try Adobe plugin, which is not free, but handle latest version of flash.
