Subject: file on mips needs too much memory -- me too!
I inadvertently downed casals the other day due to this same bug. It almost
happened again today, but I was babysitting my build from another SSH
session, due to paranoia, noticed file spinning out of control during
dh_strip, and killed it. Went hunting for bugs, and found this one.
I assume this is well-known already anyway, as the buildd on casals uses
"-rsudo" instead of "-rfakeroot".
