I can't download I tunes for ubuntu

when i try to download I tunes ubuntu says "error while saving archive" and does not open I tunes.

iTunes is not available for Ubuntu Linux. The file you downloaded is likely the Windows installer package, which Ubuntu does not know how to deal with. If you are looking for a program to play and manage your music collection you may want to look at Rythmbox Music Player, which is likely already installed on your system and can be accessed by going to Applications->Sound & Video->Rythmbox Music Player

Whether you are able to get your ipod working with Ubuntu will depend on the
type of iPod that you have. Notably, if you have an iPod Touch or iPhone it
will not work. For more information on what iPods will work and how to accomplish
