trying to download and play the game pingus

I just downloaded the game pingus but now i don't how to play it. It was saved as a file and I don't how how to play it. Please help me open it correctly.

You can go into Synaptic Package Manager and install it through there, if thats what you are asking. I don't know what repository it is in

If you are asking to know the controls of the game, don't ask me.

Hello:

Pingus is available from the ubuntu repositories.. You ll need to have universe repositories enabled

To do the same ref the link below for a detailed info:

http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/sources

after getting all the required repositories enabled

Type the following command in a terminal (applications -> accessories -> terminal)

sudo aptitude install pingus

To run pingus there should be a menu entry (applications -> games -> pingus)

or type pingus in a terminal and the game should start
