i put disk in and it doesnt start autorun

i suggest you post on a windows forum. this is ubuntu support not windows.

Simply turn off you pc with the cd in and it will reinstall from the cd if you have it as first boot. But to be honest, why xp its dead in a year and the security issues are not supported. Least Ubuntu is secure.
