Set compression level in "Compress..." dialogue from Nautilus

How do I set the compression level (e.g. highest compression for smallest size) when making archives? There is no option for that in the "Compress..." dialogue from Nautilus (and there should be!).

There may be some nautilus script somewhere to give more control.
