i get an end-central directory signature not found etc.. when i try to open my downloads

i downloaded microsoft office the download completed tried to open message came up end of central directory signature not found , about this not being a zip file

The zip file have error please re download the zip file...

But why do you not use libreoffice or openoffice suite... on Ubuntu ?

 MS office is not a linux program. It won't run on a linux system, or a mac system -- only under appropriate versions of windows.

You can possibly run it under wine, but it apparently does not work well.
