flash player will not install 10..084 ubuntu the directions do not work i need a answer. a page full of #s is worthless sentences? words English?,

double clicking on the icon will open the installer, no it don't open it with the arcive manager, ok coll but it dont do any thing extract it fine now there are two icons that don't do any thing. go to the terminal and type these # that don't work go to the synaptic package manager and hit search. there no search button then hie sections that don't do any thing there is no way doing something as simple as installing flash player should be this hard. it took less than a minute in windows

1. Open the Ubuntu Software Centre (from the Applications menu at the top right of your screen)

2. Type "flash plugin" in the search box in the top right corner of the Software Centre.

3. Highlight the Adobe Flash plugin result, and click the Install button. Provide password and so forth.

4. Restart FF and enjoy.
