Install the drivers on GNOME, stuck at boot

Asked by Nicola Hinssen

Hi there,

I'm experiencing this problem a long time now.. I can't get fglrx and GNOME working..
After the installation, Ubuntu hangs at black screen.
I've searched the whole internet (well... almost) and still haven't got a solution.

My specs:
HP Pavilion 17-f049nd notebook
AMD A10-5745M APU with Radeon HD 8610G Graphics
AMD Radeon R7 M260 Graphics

Right now I'm running Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 with kernel 4.4.0.2 (but the problem exists in more distros and kernels)

--What I already tried to find the solution:--

Distros:
- Debian
- Arch
Installed the driver (tried both fglrx and fglrx-updates) via:
- Additional Driver menu
- Terminal
- AMD website (prebuilt and manual)
I´ve also tried to install all over the web adviced prerequisited packages
Manual X.org.conf configurations
Different kernels (up- and downgrades

I really hope someone can point me to the right direction!

Thanks in advance
