fgrx stopped booting of xservers

Asked by greg

I installed fglrx and fglrx-updates. I got following messages from xinit:
(WW) fglrx: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:0@1:0:1) found
(EE)No devices detected
Fatal server error:
no screens found

And lspci give this:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller

And section Devie from xorg.conf file:
Section "Device"
              Identifier "aticonfig-Device[0]-0"
              Driver "fglrx"
              BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection
I don´t know what can I do?

it is probably difficult with udev not fglrx or intel . there is no device file in /dev?!

Seems aticonfig messed up. I'd delete xorg.conf, remove driver, reinstall xorg (as explained in troubleshooting) or reinstall 12.04 from scratch and to be sure disable Intel in BIOS.
Also try standard radeon first and test it's performance. In 12.04 proprietary drivers have some issues atm. Maybe wait until the first point release when more bugs have been fixed.

Can you help with this problem?
