ffmpeg release 6.0 version ,but 22.04 is 4.4 version? why?

ffmpeg release 6.0 version ,but 22.04 is 4.4? why?
why not update ffmpeg to 5.x?not even as good as rockylinux 9?
please update ffmpeg all library to 5.x

There may be PPAs, it seems that https://launchpad.net/~savoury1/+archive/ubuntu/ffmpeg6 is a good candidate.
