Azure fencing on Ubuntu 16.04

Asked by Kenneth Penza

Hello,

Are there plans to package fence_azure_arm for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS?

Inclusion of this fencing agent will allow to run SQL Server Always On workloads on Azure.

Kenneth

Seems to be in the fence-agents package:
http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/bionic/man8/fence_azure_arm.8.html

Is this what you need or am I reading this wrong? Is it not the same in Xenial?

Thanks

Have you tried manually installing the package for bionic on xenial?
I do not see any complicated dependency, so this might work.

I installed bionic package on xenial as recommended and it works fine. Thanks for your assistance.
