fai-doc 5.11 beta for Focal is incomplete

Asked by Jonas Bygdén

The beta version (5.11~beta1-0~202109301325~ubuntu20.04.1) of the package fai-doc - which incidentally is the default you get if using the launchpad ppa - is incomplete.

There are no files in the /usr/share/doc/fai-doc/examples/ directory. At least not the 'simple' subdirectory.

Which is the documentation.
fai-doc (5.3.6ubuntu1)
https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/fai-doc
https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/all/fai-doc/filelist
The current from repository.
Being a PPA that is not a surprise.
Personal Package Archive.
During testing "Beta" documentation is usually the last
to be wrote to include any and all changes during testing period.

The version that you have (5.11~beta1-0~202109301325~ubuntu20.04.1) seems not to be the standard version that comes with Ubuntu.
For diagnostic purposes, what is the output of the command

apt-cache policy fai-doc

(I assume, you are using the version from ppa:fai/ppa and if there is something wrong with that version, you have to contact the provider of the PPA - https://launchpad.net/~fai ).
