F-spot crashes when I try to select a photo

Asked by Andy B

I have been sorting my photos into different tags. When I select one of the tags instead of thumbnails I see small globes (the icon for the tag) and if I click on one of the globes f-spot crashes.
Running from terminal shows :
[Info 16:48:06.181] Initializing Mono.Addins

(f-spot:6004): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: GdkPixbufLoader finalized without calling gdk_pixbuf_loader_close() - this is not allowed. You must explicitly end the data stream to the loader before dropping the last reference.

Same happens if I try to view photos in a slideshow.
