F Spot Photo Manager

Asked by TossedSalad 999

In F Spot Photo Manager, I do not see how to save a file to JPEG format. There are no save functions visible on any of the menus. Can you recommend a better photo or graphics program? (no luck with Lucid's OO Drawing, either).

I recommend gimp, though some may find it to difficult to use effectively. There are of course many tutorials and books on using gimp available on their website.

Good advice, I know Gimp from Knoppix and was just trying to dialup download it, except the package manager and synaptics pkg manager are both losing my files. Better to figure out how to find/use the already downloaded ones first and will shoot for Gimp.
