f-spot package

compiling f-spot 0.4.0 on dapper

Hi I had downloaded and compiled version 0.3.5 perfectly using build-dep f-spot and so on.

Now when I try to compile f-spot 0.4.0 it shows me error on make, any solution?:

why cant you use 'sudo apt-get install f-spot', rather than have to mess about with compiling.

point is dapper LTS has http://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper/gnome/f-spot 0.1.11 and I wanted the new features...

have you installed build-essential ?

sudo apt-get install build-essential
