Minimode in exaile 0.3.2.2 cannot remember its position

The minimode plugin in exaile 0.3.2.2 in Ubuntu 12.10 (with gnome-shell 3.6) forgets its position everytime I expand it to full view and moves to the top-left corner.
I change its view to minimode bring it from top left-corner of the screen to bottom-right corner, it stays there. But as soon as I expand it to full view and change it again to minimode, it goes to top-left corner again. I problem started when I upgraded my Ubuntu to 12.10.
I tried to search about it and found the folder /usr/share/exaile/plugins/minimode. I further searched for the config files and tried to edit /usr/share/exaile/plugins/minimode/__init__.py for the following line,

90 self.defaults['plugin/minimode/horizontal_position'] = 10
91 self.defaults['plugin/minimode/vertical_position'] = 10

It didn't work out as expected. Please help!
