evolution and gmx account smtp does not work

Hello, I am configuring my gmx.com email account in Evolution in Ubuntu 9.04. My incoming mail works fine, but my smtp or sending server does not work I get an error message: Could not connect to mail.gmx.com: no route to host. I have opened port 25 and I just don't know. Please help.

Thank you for a such a quick response. I have found this thread and I followed it to the T, but I'm still getting the same error. If you know of any other places to check out please let me know.

The scrubbed out area should contain your full email address.

Does your setting match these?

Hi Philip Wyett ,
I checked settings and it's same as yours. But it cannot run. I guess there is a different problem. Maybe i should log that problem as bug

I have done this exact same configuration in a virtual machine with ubuntu 9.10 and it worked perfectly. It must be a bug or some how we screwed up a configuration file?.?.? If this is the case where is a good place to check out.
