Creating HTML E-Mail Signature With Images (Logo)

Asked by David

Unfortunately, the capabilities of Evolution's built-in signature editor are too limited. I had created HTML files that have my signatures and was able to load them in Microsoft Outlook. There does not seem to be a way to have Evolution load them.

Have you been using:

Edit->Preferences->Composer Preferences->Signatures

?

I have tried using the editor provided in Evolution by Edit->Preferences->Composer Preferences->Signatures. However its capabilities are quite limited, and I cannot get my signature to look like I wish. Since I already have HTML .sig files that look perfect, I am hoping that I can simply put them in some directory and they will become usable as signatures.

However, I am new to Linux, and have no idea where these files might be, and couldn't find them in a search of the entire file system.

WIth the HTML editor in Evolution you can simply create a new signature and insert your existing html file with Insert->HTML file (just make sure that you select format->Html in the signature editor).
