How do I reset all Evolution config?

Asked by David Kågedal

I want to remove all Evolution configuration and start again, but can't figure out how. My CouchDB integration didn't work, so I figured it could be because I configured it during the Karmic beta. So I thought I'd remove all evolution configuration and start over (there is not important information inside Evolution).

What I did was to simply remove ~/.evolution which has worked fine before. But anymore. When I start evolution again (I killed eveolution-data-server as well) it starts up with the same IMAP and address book configuration again.

Where is this configuration stored, and how do I get rid of it? I want to ensure a "fresh" Evolution setup with no old cruft.

Try this:

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/evolution
