how to avoid the sent folder

I can not find an option for not to save the email I send in the sent folder.

Unforunately, that isn't a feature that is implemented yet, HOWEVER, you're in luck. I tested this out, because I hate it as well, so you can set up a rule, that will send all outgoing mail, instead of storing it in your sent box, to the trash.

Go to Edit -> Message Filters
Select Outgoing
Click Add
Sender Contains -> Add whatever your outgoing mail name appears as, even just your first name or a keyword works.
in the 'Then' section, select Delete

Click OK, and send a test email to something like yourself or a hotmail address. I did with mine and it works perfectly.

Thanks I will do it that way.

Ps Are the Evolution people using this as suggestion as well or is there an other place to send a suggestion?

Searching for some information last night I came across a page on Evolutions' homepage that the suggestion was made for the next development; whether or not they will implement it is yet to be seen. Perhaps you can of course though take a look at their page and suggest it once again, so that they are aware that users would enjoy that feature.
