Something had invaded my computer and sent emails to everyone in my yahoo address book...

When I woke up my Ubuntu(Lenux) this morning I found that something had invaded my computer and sent emails to everyone in my yahoo address book. The web sites in the messages were different!! I don't know what is going on and don't know what to do about it. HELP

Hello but the mails were sent by your computer or only by your Yahoo user? because yahoo has been crack and 10000 mail address were publish with user and password. maybe you have one of thouse address. try to change the password.

I did go ahead and change my password.

I wouldn't necessarily rely upon this method to 'verify' as it's not entirely accurate, better than nothing maybe.

You should go to your Yahoo account and change your password. Something you should do once in a while anyways.
