remove message from queue

Asked by Ben Klein

I went to send a message in evolution, but, after a while, it said that the message that says
DATA command failed: Message exceeds maximum fixed size (40000000)
. It then tries to send the same message every time I start evolution, and I can't send any other messages until that one clears, which it will never do. How can I get it out of the message queue?

go to your email account via web browser.... (e.g. www.gmail.com)

after log in, delete that mail.

then open evolution and delete that mail again.

The problem is that the message cannot be sent to the SMTP server, and I cannot figure out how to delete the message. The question is how to get the message OUT of the SEND queue.

I went to "On This Computer" > Outbox, and the message was sitting right there, waiting to be deleted.
