no forward button in evolution start window

Can not receive mail in evolution. When I click on E-mail desktop icon I get a window stating :
 There was an error launching the application.
 Details: Failed to execute child process "FORWARD" (no such file or directory). I was not able to complete installing the E-mail account.

 Hi ZVACET
   When I click on the E-mail icon on the desk top I get a window that says:
       There was an error launching the application
            Details: Failed to execute child process
             "FORWARD" (no such file or directory )
I recently obtained this computer with the Ubuntu OS installed. It was a used machine.
 I can send mail but not receive. The forward button is missing from the set up window.
 If it is not possible to correct this can I install Thunderbird ?

Yes,you can install Thunderbird if you go to the system<admin>synaptic and in search box type thunderbird and when you find package mark it for installation and install it.Maybe somebody else know how to solve problem in Evolution.

If you wish to go back to evolution you could always try reinstalling it...
