Rule Creation in Evolution 2.10.1

Asked by MrZumma

Everyone,

I am wanting to know if I can create a rule to autoreply to the sender. The main reason for this is that I am about to Churn my wifes e-mail but would like to inform any of her contacts of her new e-mail address.

Any advice would be appricated.

Cheers

Yes and no.

What you can do is move or copy any mail with an attachment in a particular folder.
Or, you can pipe the email to a filter which can be configured to strip the attachment and save it to a particular folder.

Thanks Cesare for the information. Would you have a good resource or two that would help me write an application or script that would strip the attachment. Your second option is just what I am looking to do.

Thanks again!

Much appreciated Cesare! I know a little Python so I don't think it will be too much of a problem to modify/implement any of those scripts. Thanks again!

Newbie here... I don't understand. I want to do the same thing: autoreply to an email that comes in on a specific server that my email address has changed. Is that possible?
