I'm having the exact same issue with the exact same versions of Ubuntu and Evolution. I have 5 mail boxes setup and am not receiving e-mail on any of them. This was working fine when I set it up, but now can't seem to receive mail.

Thanks,
-Eric

Same here too. My email is not getting downloaded. I do not get any errors also.

Eric Snider (esnider) said : #6

My problem was just plain silly. I download mail from several systems and one of them was set to remove mail from the server. It still doesn't explain why I wasn't receiving Google mail. However, once I corrected the Outlook mail and set it to leave messages on the server, all was well.

-Eric

I have a similar problem. I see email on webmail for my account.

When I do a send/receive in Evolution it seems to erradicate everything at the server but then afterwards I can't see any of the downloaded email in Evolution.

Any ideas?

Hi Ian,

The only thing I can think of offhand would be if you have a keyword search criteria set, so you are only seeing the mail currently that matches that keyword. Does that make sense?

-Eric

So Evolution is only receiving half the emails sent to my server. What should I do if it is a bug? If I reset, will I loose all existing emails that I've filed?

Can you help with this problem?
