Hi,

You need two server settings: one in "receiving emails", one in "sending emails".

The first one (receiving emails) is the server of your email provider. If your email address is <email address hidden>, then the server is very probably xxxx.server.com ; you normally have this info when you open your email account.

The second one (sending emails) is the outgoing server, the SMTP server of your internet provider. It is generally something like yyyy.provider.com ; often yyyy='smtp', but it can vary.

In both cases Evolution cannot guess, it depends on your email account and on your internet provider. You probably have these info somewhere, in a letter or in a web page...

This is my error message when I try to send emails.

Could not create message.

Because "gpg: skipped "<email address hidden>": secret key not available
gpg: signing failed: secret key not available
", you may need to select different mail options.

@dee077: are your the original poster? If not, you should open another question. For your problem, disable the encryption ("security" tab in the account editor).

Can you help with this problem?
