Minimize Evolution to Notification Area

Is there a way to minimize Evolution (email client) to the notification area?
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 (thus GNOME v2.24.1).

There is application called alltray , use synaptics to install it or apt-get install alltray , you can use this application to minimize any application to systray , you may also try another awesome product mozilla thunderbird and it's addon firetray
