Can't get back to my original Evolution interface

Somehow I have changed the interface on my evalution mail inbox and I do not know how to get back to the original interface with the list of messages in the top pain, and the highlighted message in the bottom pain

Well, I don't know which screen you are currently seeing. But how about if you quit evolution and restart it?

Aha, I think I understand your problem now. Isn't there something in the menu called:
"View | Preview | Show Message Preview".

Hi Bernard, Everything is the same except I just get a list of messages received instead of the list of messages on top and then the highlighted message in full underneath.

Did you try the second thing I said? I don't use Evolution, but it should be somewhere in the "View" menu.

Yes, I just tried it, it should be

View --> Preview --> Show message preview.

If that's not it, please describe more precisely what the problem is.

Hello Roger
to show the highlighted email: type control+M.

if this did not solve the problem. Can you please hover your mouse over the edge on the bottom of the pane, and click+hold then drag up with the mouse.

Hi Bernhard Yes that solved on Ubuntu its View..> Preview..>Show Message Pane
