Delete Evolution Calendars permanently

Asked by Kayvee

I switched over to Thunderbird/Lightning after a brief use of Evolution for email and calendar stuff. During my evolution setup, I configured my Google Calendars. After I switched to Thunderbird, I deleted all email and calendar accounts from Evolution. However, when I click on the Date button on the gnome panel, I still see calendar dates shown in bold face suggesting I have appointments. How do I get rid of my calendars completely? I removed the calendar.ics file from .evolution folder.

Thanks for the quick reply. That link says I need to replace a copy of
calendar.ics with an empty one. But I already deleted my calendar.ics
file. Also, calendar.ics file is present in
..evolution/calendar/local/system/ folder instead of .evolution/local/
folder. I wonder if that is important...

It's fixed! I was on the right track: deleting that calendar.ics file. I just had to logout and log back in to see the final result.
