Evolution won't close

when I try to close evolution, everything goes grey but the program won't close. I can use the command to force it to close in terminal, but that is the only way I can get it to shut down. What should I do?

What happens, wen you start evolution via

# evolution

and close it again. What appears inside the console?

After running the # evolution command, I was able to shut it down without a problem. Looks like the problem is solved - thanks.
