how to return from message search without restart evolution

After a search for messages I can't get my messagelist back, so I shut dows Evolution and restart it.
 I suppose there is a faster method.

Could anyone help me out please?

Isn't there some kind of 'Clear' button next to the search box? If there isn't nay, try deleting all the text in your search box.

Oh that's not a torch... it is supposed to be some kind of broom! I guess the icon designers need to take care of that :-)

A broom to CLEAR e.s.o. a torch to search!!
A simple left-arrow would have saved you, me and the designer some
time:)
