send/receive button is disactivated in evolution mail

Binary package hint: yelp

Send/receive button in evolution mail is disabled. it w2as working when i initially set evolutiojn and it was possible to receive e-mails, but when the application was restarted, the button is disable3d and the mail can not be downloaded. I am using Ubuntu on DELL mini 9 netbook.

Use Thuderbird instead of Evolution. Evolution is a tricky product and Thunderbird is great. You can find Thunderbird in the Synaptic Package Manager or you can istal it by typing "sudo apt-get install thunderbird" in a Terminal..

Open Evolution. Click on "File" (in the top menu) and then click on "Work Online".
