Hotmail with client Evolution

Asked by kikyo

Hi everyone!
I have configurated my hotmail account to read and send mail with Evolution but It doesn't work at all!
It shows me always the same error: "Impossible to connect to the server pop3.live.com. Password error: facility temporarily not available"
(sorry for the translation, hope you can understand!)
Can anyone tell me if there is something I can do to solve this problem?
Thank you for your attention!^^

Hello,

You are translating from which language ? Please check out this forum post. Apparently, pop3 support isn't enabled for everybody.

The hotway package has been deleted from the repository so no more hotmail and evolution using the old solution. Does anyone has got a workaround?

Can you help with this problem?
