cannot delete mail (imap)

hi there
i got strange problem
i'm using gmail box by IMAP
lately when i delet any mail from Inbox, and i'm empting trash folder
after refreshing, mails remain!
i got same problem for both mailboxes (gmail)
what shall i do?

in your email client in the advanced imap settings, you can tell it to either move the message to the ALL MAIL folder (which will archive it) or move it to the TRASH which will really delete it from your mailbox.
