i cant figure out how to set up evolution mail

i already have an email on gmail, but everytime i try to set-up evolution i just dont understand what to do.

I recommend to use Thunderbird and not Evolution. Thunderbird is much cleverer. If you like to get Thunderbird, do the following:

1: Open Synaptic
2: Search for Thunderbird
3: Install it

or

1: sudo apt-get install thunderbird
