can send but not receive email

In Evolution I can send email just fine but cannot receive with Embarq DSL. I've checked my pop server address over and over to make sure it's correct. Sending - smtp.embarqmail.com Receiving - pop.embarqmail.com

For User Name, type in your full new embarq email address

Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.embarqmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.embarqmail.com

Click on the 'more settings' button in the lower right, go to the 'outgoing server' tab and check the box for 'my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'
