Evolution working fine with gmail for pop server but the same for smtp for sending mail facing problem.

Evolution is not working with the smtp. But the same working fine with pop server.

This suggests your settings for SMTP are incorrect... Have you checked them? Again? Please keep in mind SMTP and POP are two completely different protocols: SMTP is for sending email, and POP is for retrieving email.

Hi, I am having the same problem. SMTP not working, but IMAP works fine. I have checked the settings for SMTP and it is fine. The error message I get is:

ERROR WHILE PERFORMING OPERATION. Data command failed. Daily send quota exceeded.

Can you help with this problem?
