SMTP port forn 25 to 587

How do i change from SMTP port 25 to 587 in Evolution 2.10.1 (UBUNTU 7.04) ?
In the old one (UBUNTU 6.10) it was : smtp.tele2.dk:587

It doesn't change, in my 7.04 I don't modify nothing. (I'm using a gmail account which require different smtp port).

In evolution, you'd set your smtp address as such:

smtp.FOO.com:587

So, in the case of Gmail, it'll be:

smtp.gmail.com:587

If I do that I get : MAIL FROM-kommandoen mislykkedes: Ukendt.
in ubuntu 6.10 i do like you" smtp.tele2.dk:587" but not in 7.04 :-(

Have you tryed to insert the smtp.tele2.dk without :587 and than to anable TLS oprtion ???

I thing i install "kontact" from KUBUNTU. ther can i set smtp port. (and it work's)

In my Evolution account I have this:

smtp.google.com:537

Me too, my evolution is 2.10.1, and my ubuntu is 7.04
I don't undestand because you have this problem.
You can rename the evolution config dir (/home/you_user/.ecolution), than restart the program and setting a new account and try to send a mail.
