I believe that configuring Windows Live Mail is very similar to configuring Hotmail. Here is a link which may be helpful

http://www.ubuntugeek.com/send-and-receive-your-hotmail-messages-through-evolution.html

If that does not help you may consider trying this guide as well

Hope this helps

I know this is an old question but seen as I'm still getting a few hits on my site from the link in the previous post I thought it would be good for those still accessing this page to know that Windows Live Mail is now accessible via POP3 (compatible with Evolution).

If you need the settings you can grab them from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Live_Hotmail#POP3) or my website (http://www.simonives.info/2009/05/hotmail-on-your-desktop/).

I've visited this page about 20 times already, either this information is incomplete or I'm just too dumb. I think it's the second one.

Can you help with this problem?
