links do not work in evolution mail

Binary package hint: evolution

When I click on a link in evolution mail, there is no response. What can I do to fix this?

that's an user question and not a bug, likely due to the default webbrowser configuration not being correct

Have you checked your settings under your preferred applications (System/Preferences/Preferred Apps) to see if firefox is set up as the web browser and if "open link with default web browser" is checked?

Thank you for the suggestion to check my preferred applications. That fixed the problem.
