To create a new folder in your home directory open Nautilus with Places -> Home
Right-click in the right pane and select ¨Create Folder¨
You can then name/rename it. Unfortunately you cannot include slashed in the name.

Hope that helps

If you want to create a new folder in your home directory, do this:

1. Open your Home directory.
2. Right click on a blank section of your screen.
3 From the resulting drop-down menu choose "Create Folder" and click on that option.
4. There will be a new folder on the screen called "untitled folder".
5. Type a name for your new folder.
6. Press "Enter".

Pressing on "Help" "Contents" will tell you more.

Thanks Andre Mangan---Sorry about that -----I meant in the Evolution Email Gadget. Where one might want to keep received Emails of a type in a folder with that type as a name of the folder. (other than trash for instance)

The procedure is the same, bill.

Right click on the Inbox, select "New Folder" from the drop-down menu and on the next screen that appears, type in the name of the new folder, then click on "Create".

Keep in mind the advice of WWSmith36: No slash in the name.
