How do I make evolution my defult mail.

My existing mail comes from xtrayahoo mail .How do I get it in to evoloution mail as my new default mail .the pop server just keeps saying ,Waiting.Also I can not print my emails on my brother MFC-5440CN .

System > Preferences > Preferred Applications

The printer seems not to be part of CUPS - http://www.cups.org/ppd.php
