Evolution Mail - POP could not connect

I am using Evolution mail to connect to gmail server for my (airtelmail.in) domain. The SMTP (Outgoing messages) goes through, but the Incoming mail (POP) just says "fetching mail" and does nothing. How do I get this issue resolved? Can someone help me with this please..

I have to change the port defaults, how do I do that as there is no option for that in Evolution Mail

Plase try this:

hostname:your_desired_port

Example: mailserver.somemaildomainnet:26
