Can't see emails

The inbox claims to have 194 unread emails in it, but I can't see them. In view it is on the default setting to hide deleted, and I can't see anything else to give a clue. Outdox and Sent show their emails, just not the inbox. Any Ideas please.

Do you see the search bar on the right-top of your Evolution? Maybe you have typed something there to filter your mails. If so, try to empty it and press "Enter" to see if your mails come back.

Under "On This Computer" select your Inbox with a left click. Just above the screen where you normally see your mail listed there is a selector switch named "Show". Change the option to read "All Messages".
