Evolution 2.22.0 , "Send/Receive" botton became inactive

Asked by mehdi1270

Binary package hint: evolution

Hi, I am using Evolution 2.22.0 with Ubuntu Hardy on AMD Phenom quad.
Today (March 28, 2008) after updating some packages through the update manager, the "Send/Receive" button became inactive.

In the evolution preferences panel, there was an option "check for new mail every ..... min" which is now gone.

I uninstalled/reinstalled evolution, and removed/re-add accounts but nothing changed.
I'm sure that my account settings are correct coz now I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird and it's working fine.

Could you please help me
Thank you

Thank you for your comments. This does not appear to be a bug report and we are closing it. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise your question in the support tracker. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu

I had a similar problem earlier today and found that for some reason the option:

File > Work Offline was mysteriously selected.

Could this also be your problem? I have no explanation why the option was changed as it has been the same for about two weeks.
