shows how to setup and configure Outlook Express to access Hotmail. If Evolution can access a web based account then follow these instructions. I was unable to set this up in KMail as I couldn't find an option to access a web based email account.

You can also use a trick to be able to access to your Hotmail's emails from any mail client.

$ apt-cache search hotmail
gotmail - utility to download email from a Hotmail or MSN account
hotsmtp - smtp to Hotmail (HTTPmail) gateway
hotway - pop3 to Hotmail (HTTPmail) gateway

You just have to install/setup one of theses programs ;)
